SixA is a GUI for setting up your SIxAxis gamepad under GNU/Linux.
SixA uses xserver-xorg-input-jotystick, made by Sascha Hlusak, to emulate the keys that you have set up from the actual buttons and axis on the gamepad.
You will also be able to set up different profiles for different games or applications, such as;
- Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
- Battle for Wesnoth
- Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Academy (using Wine).
- OpenOffice.org Presentation
- Mozilla Firefox
- Totem
- Entertainer
- Whatever!
You will by yourself be able to add whatever you want.
SixA will also have features as seeing the battery status, map axis, keys.
Currently SixA is put on ice during to my other projects (blogg2.com and partii.se).
And I'm also thinking about canceling the project completely and start a new which is focusing, not only on SixAxis, but on ANY gamepad or joystick.
Anyone who wants to help with the project is welcome to conact me via my contect form.
